Arriving via the A4

Turn south from the A4 onto Frascati Way (signed for A308). Take the left hand lane and turn left just before the Odeon cinema into Broadway then follow the ‘Broadway to Desborough BC’ directions below.

Arriving via the M4 or A308

Leave the motorway at Junction 8/9 and take the A308(M) for Maidenhead. After the dual carriageway take the first left into Braywick Road, across the roundabout, through three sets of traffic lights into the one way system and then turn right at the fourth set of lights (Frascati Way, with the Odeon cinema on the corner) into Broadway then follow the directions below.

From Broadway to Desborough BC

Go past the multi-storey car park, across Queen St at the next junction, then turn right into Park Street passing the Town Hall and the entrance to the Town Hall car park on the left. At the end of Park Street the bowling club is directly in front of you, bear left and then immediately make a right turn into our car park.

If you’re making for the Grove Road car park turn right instead of left at the end of Park Street and then right into Grove Road.

Alternative Car Parking

Our car park can get full so the nearby Town Hall and Grove Road public car parks are worth considering too.

If you get to our car park entrance following these directions and find the car park is full, continue along York Road, go past St Ives Road on the left (which is no entry) and then take the second left into Bridge Avenue and then left to High Street and left again to St Ives Road, returning to York Road. Turn right onto York Road, drive alongside the club and then either right onto Park Street for the Town Hall car park or second right onto Grove Road for the alternative car park.

If it’s after 5pm on a weekday or anytime over the weekend the Town Hall car park is available for public use. It’s good value for evening stays but watch out for length of stay during Saturdays (it is free on Sundays). Details of the current charges are here. Residents within the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead can obtain the RBWM’s Advantage Card which gives discounted parking including free evening parking during weekdays. The Grove Road car park is also close by and can be a handy alternative car park if the Town Hall is full or it’s a weekday daytime when the Town Hall car park is dedicated to Town Hall visitors and employees.
