All about membership and joining the club.

How do I join the club?

It's easy! Just download the application form (see below), fill it in, sign it and return it to us with the application fee. The application fee is £5.00 - this is deducted from the joining fee upon joining the club (and refunded should you not be accepted by the club). You need to be proposed and seconded by existing club members to become a member.

There is a joining fee of £50 for an individual, or £75 for a couple; (no joining fee is payable by junior members). This is a non-refundable one-off payment and is payable on acceptance of membership into the club. This joining fee is not applicable for social members who have use of our private bar overlooking the greens.

The membership year commences on 1st October. You may join at any time; the subscription charged will be pro-rata according to the time of year.

What if I am not an experienced bowler?

No problem! All we ask is that you complete a coaching course. These are run frequently, normally on Sunday mornings, and last for a period of 6 weeks. The cost is just £3.00 per weekly session. Once you have completed the course you will be proposed and seconded by your trainers to enable entry to the club.

New members do not need to purchase bowls initially - these can be loaned temporarily whilst you are learning.
