Thinking of taking up bowls?

Why not take up bowling? It is a sport that is good for you - physically, mentally and socially.

Before you spend money on bowls or any other kit have a go with ours. Either e-mail or telephone the Club (on 01628 629403 ) for details of the next coaching sessions.

We have been running coaching sessions for many years & they usually take place during the Indoor Season on a Sunday morning, from 8.15a.m. to 10.00 a.m.

They run from the beginning of October through to April.

The first coaching session commencing 3rd of October is nearly full, but a few places remain if you want to register.

.

The next 7-week coaching classes will commence on Sunday 28th of November and a registration sheet for this course will go up in the next week or so.

.

The final 8-week coaching course will begin on February 6th 2011, so there are [plenty of opportunities to learn how to play bowls and enjoy a great social life in the bargain.

At the end of the coaching season we run a Coaching Tournament for The John Arkle Trophy. A list of past winners is shown below.

Cost is £3 per session with £7 temporary membership fee.

(All coaches are qualified under The English Bowls Coaching Scheme & are C.R.B. Checked)
